Terms of Use

For the Dorlio mobile app. Last updated: 30 June 2026.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and MIHAINTELLIGENCE SRL ("Dorlio", "we", "us") governing your use of the Dorlio app and services. By downloading or using Dorlio you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Who may use Dorlio

You must be an adult (the age of majority where you live) to create an account and make purchases. Dorlio is intended to be set up and operated by a parent or guardian on behalf of their family. You are responsible for activity under your account and for supervising children's use.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Dorlio for your own family's, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the app store's rules. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass the app's limits, security, or content safeguards.

3. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

  • Dorlio offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription (e.g. monthly and annual plans), with prices shown in the app before purchase.
  • Purchases are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price until you cancel.
  • Any free trial or introductory offer converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
  • Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (also reachable from the app's Profile screen). Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable — refund requests are handled by Apple/Google under their policies.
  • We may change features or prices; we'll give notice as required, and price changes apply to future periods.

4. AI-generated content

Stories and illustrations are generated by AI and are for entertainment. They may occasionally be inaccurate, repetitive, or not to your taste. We apply automated safety filtering, but you are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it with your child. Dorlio is not educational, medical, psychological, or other professional advice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Dorlio to attempt to generate content that is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, illegal, or otherwise harmful, and not to misuse, overload, or interfere with the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Content & intellectual property

The app, its design, and its software are owned by us and our licensors. As between you and us, you may use the stories and images you generate for your personal, family, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for the inputs you provide (such as a name or theme) and confirm you have the right to use them.

7. Disclaimers

Dorlio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate or appropriate for every child.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Dorlio in the 12 months before the claim (or, if greater than zero is not permitted, the minimum the law allows). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using Dorlio and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. 6–8, 10) survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts there have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights.

11. Apple App Store

If you obtained Dorlio from Apple's App Store, the following also applies and prevails over any conflicting term for the iOS app:

  • These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Your licence is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, per Apple's Usage Rules.
  • We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app, its maintenance and support, and any product warranties, and for addressing any claims that the app or your use of it infringes rights or fails to meet a legal requirement.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
  • You confirm you are not in a US-embargoed country or on a US prohibited-parties list.

12. Google Play

If you obtained Dorlio from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, and the responsibilities for the app are ours, not Google's.

13. Changes & contact
